RAD PDF 3.5 Released

Red Software is proud to announce version 3.5 of its web-based PDF editor for ASP.NET, RAD PDF. This version includes a new signature popup option, allowing for PDF signature collection using direct mouse / touch input, typed signatures, or image upload. Using the API, a custom application can choose which of the three input methods a user should be allowed to use when signing a PDF.

Touch support for the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox has been updated to take advantage of browser improvements on desktop platforms. Additionally, a number of minor issues have been addressed including some PDF form field functionality fixes.

This release is available free of charge to all RAD PDF licensees with an active Maintenance Plan.

RAD PDF Update 2.36.6 Released

Today, Red Software announces service release 2.36.6 of RAD PDF, the ASP.NET replacement for PDF readers like Adobe Reader. With this update, RAD PDF's PDF form creator can now create rotated form fields. Additionally, this version improves cross browser support for downloading PDF files (where enabled) with non-ASCII file names.

With bug fixes for encrypted PDF forms, a work around for Internet Explorer 8, and other improvements, RAD PDF continues to be the most cross-browser and full-featured ASP.NET PDF reader, PDF editor, PDF form filler, and PDF annotator.

This version is available free of charge to all RAD PDF licensees with an active RAD PDF Maintenance Plan

RAD PDF Update 2.36.5 Released

Red Software is happy to announce version 2.36.5 of RAD PDF, the PDF viewing, form filling, editing and annotating component for ASP.NET. This update includes improvements for PDF form usage.

This service release also includes a number of bug fixes.

This version is available free of charge to all customers with an active RAD PDF Maintenance Plan.
