Today, Red Software updates RAD PDF, a ASP.NET (3.5 / 4.x / Core / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9) web component & GUI for editing, form filling, redacting (experimental), signing, and viewing PDF files in any web browser. This version includes .NET 8+ improvements, rendering improvements, and security upgrades. Enhancements have been added for adding transparent PNG files with unexpectedly small palettes. Additionally, square annotations rendering content other than a square are now displayed using their appearance stream, better handling how some third-party PDF libraries encode their content.

This update is available free of charge to customers with an active Maintenance Plan.
