RAD PDF 4.2 Released
Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 9:00AM Today, Red Software updates RAD PDF, a ASP.NET (3.5 / 4.x / Core / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9) web component & GUI for editing, form filling, redacting (experimental), signing, and viewing PDF files in any web browser. This version includes .NET 8+ improvements, rendering improvements, and security upgrades. Enhancements have been added for adding transparent PNG files with unexpectedly small palettes. Additionally, square annotations rendering content other than a square are now displayed using their appearance stream, better handling how some third-party PDF libraries encode their content.
This update is available free of charge to customers with an active Maintenance Plan.
RAD PDF 2.33 Released
Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 1:00PM Red Software is excited to release version 2.33 of the ASP.NET PDF reader, PDF annotator, PDF editor, and PDF form filler, RAD PDF. Users can now create Circle (often called Oval) annotations as well as Square (often called Rectangle) annotations. The client / server API has also been updated appropriately.
Redirecting users after a save (or other custom JavaScript actions) are now easier than ever. Additionally, iOS devices can now more easily add and edit text in PDF documents and forms.
Version 2.33 also includes a number minor bug fixes and other enhancements.
This version is available free of charge to all Red Software customers with an active RAD PDF Maintenance Plan.
