RAD PDF 5.6 Released

Red Software is happy to announce RAD PDF 5.6, the latest release of its ASP.NET Web Control, a drop-in component for PDF reading, PDF form filling, PDF editing, PDF redaction, PDF signing, PDF content protection, and more. Compatible with the .NET Framework 3.5+ and ready for ASP.NET 11, RAD PDF continues to have wider platform and browser support than any other web-based PDF editor.

This new build features new a Server API for manipulating bookmarks (e.g. adding, editing, and deleting). Bookmarks, sometimes called outlines, use destinations, allowing for more precise document navigation than just going to a page in a PDF. Destinations can specify the scroll position and zoom level.

This version fixes several minor issues, including a bug when setting the DateFormat of text form fields using the Server API.

This update is available free of charge to all customers with an active Maintenance Plan or Subscription.
