RAD PDF 3.49 Released
Today, Red Software publishes RAD PDF 3.49, its web-based GUI / WebControl for PDF viewing, PDF editing, PDF form filling, PDF redacting, PDF signing and more! RAD PDF works with virtually EVERY .NET Core or .NET Framework web application type including Angular, Blazor, Razor, React, MVC, WebForms, and more, making PDF-webapp integration easier than ever.
Primarily, this release includes integration improvements like a new option to set the HttpHandlerPath. This allows for requests to be sent to a custom path for HTTP requests (instead of the default "RadPdf.axd").
A critical update, version 3.49 also includes a fix for a buffer overflow vulnerability in the ASCII85 decoder being used. We highly recommend all customers update to this latest version as soon as possible/
Along with minor bug fixes, this release continues to improve the most widely compatible PDF editing solution for ASP.NET. This version is compatible with Windows Server 2025 and SQL Server 2025.

RAD PDF 3.48 Released
Red Software is proud to announce RAD PDF 3.48, the newest release of its ASP.NET WebControl, a drop-in component for PDF reading, PDF form filling, PDF editing, PDF redaction, PDF signing, PDF content protection, and more. Compatible with the .NET Framework 3.5+ and ready for ASP.NET 9, RAD PDF continues to have wider platform and browser support than any other web-based PDF editor.
This new version adds support for squiggly annotation objects. These annotations, similar to underline annotations, can be used to mark up PDF text. Like other PDF annotations in RAD PDF, the PdfSquigglyAnnotation class allows for client side and server side access and application integration.
This release extends NuGet support for ARM, improves security when rendering PDF files at client, and fixes a few minor bugs.

RAD PDF 3.47 Released
Today, Red Software updates RAD PDF, a drop-in-ready ASP.NET (3.5 / 4.x / Core / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9) web component & GUI for editing, form filling, redacting (experimental), signing, and reading PDF files online. This version includes support for PDF file annotations, widgets on PDF files (often displayed as a paperclip) which link to an attached embedded file. These same embedded files also show up in the list embedded files in the new side panel added in RAD PDF 3.46.
Additionally, this RAD PDF release fixes a few minor bugs and adds a new Server API features, enabling programmatic access to embedded files and file annotations.

This new version includes a number of important bug fixes, including a fix for a problem with images uploaded containing EXIF data. If the EXIF data contained a default rotation, some browsers could display images on screen in one orientation, but then in a different orientation in the output PDF. The viewer (like the output PDF) now displays images without any EXIF rotation.

RAD PDF 3.31 Released
Red Software is proud to update its ASP.NET WebControl for PDF form filling, editing, signing, and viewing, RAD PDF to version 3.31. Even with Microsoft dropping support for Internet Explorer, this release continues to support nearly ever browser and platform, including Internet Explorer back to to IE6 (as well as the latest desktop, mobile, and touch devices).
This release includes new PdfObject properties for both the Client API and Server API, like LockWidth and LockHeight.
Additionally, this update improves PDF processing speed and compatibility with slightly damaged/malformed files.
This version includes security updates related to damaged PDF files and rendering PDF files with a nested transparency group as well as other minor bug fixes.
