



Today, Red Software releases version 2.32.5, a service update to RAD PDF, the ASP.NET PDF editor, form filler, and PDF reader for Web Forms and MVC alike. This update includes a number of bug fixes.
Version 2.32.5 also includes a number of enhancements for using PDF form fields with non-ASCII names and values.

Red Software is proud to announce version 2.32 of RAD PDF, the ASP.NET PDF viewer, editor, form filler, and annotator. This release adds support for extracting and rendering text as needed, reducing server side loads for large and long documents. This new feature is enabled by default and can be controlled using the RenderTextOnDemand property. When used with the other Render*OnDemand properties, RAD PDF now more efficiently loads large files (without pre-rendering unused resources).
PDF files encrypted using AES-256 can now be loaded by RAD PDF (with the proper password of course).
A new, modern UI example is also included with this release. Using jQuery and Kendo UI, this new basic sample illustrates the basics for a custom GUI using RAD PDF.
Version 2.32 also includes a number minor bug fixes and other enhancements.

These new annotation types (as well as the existing highlight annotation tool) now also detect text in the PDF document, smartly applying the annotations to the words in the document (text selection must not be disabled by the document settings). Additionally, all markup annotations (not just sticky notes) can have popups with additional text associated.
The text insertion tool has also been improved, making use of the tool on the same line more intuitive.
This release also includes 64-bit operation improvements and several bug fixes.

Red Software is proud to announce version 2.29 of the ASP.NET PDF component, RAD PDF. This new version includes a 64-bit only operation mode, document exporting / importing, and PdfButtonField creation options.
This release offers methods to export and import RAD PDF document data, preserving the document state in RAD PDF (using a BSON format). It also adds the option to create button form fields (with submit or reset actions).
Additionally, Popup Annotations now can be positioned off page (except in IE6 and IE7 where it poses currently unavoidable issues).
This update also includes several bug fixes, particularly with IE10 and IE11.
