We are excited to announce that PDFescape has two exciting new features:

• Zooming: Zoom in or out when viewing your PDF file or form. This has been a much requested feature from PDFescape users, which we finally had to completely overhauled PDFescape in order to enable. While a small feature from the user perspective, this is a big enabler for some new features and linking options PDFescape users will see in the coming months.
• Firefox 3 Support: Firefox 3 is in prerelease and not expected to change much between now and its official release. As such PDFescape has been made ready for this new browser update. PDFescape runs faster and smoother under Firefox 3. FF3 should be a much anticipated release from Mozilla for PDFescape users. Additionally, FF3 (as well as Safari 2 & 3) are the best browsers to use for the new zooming feature in PDFescape. Earlier versions of FF & Internet Explorer will render the zoomed file much grainier.

At the request of many of the more avid users of PDFescape, files uploaded to PDFescape will now stay on our servers until they have not been accessed or resaved for 30 days (prior to this, the 30 day expiration date was set based on when the file was originally uploaded).

We believe that this new file retention policy only makes PDFescape a more usage PDF reader & editor, especially for PDFescape's most loyal users!

Files still can be deleted from our servers at any time through the use of the PDF file manager in your online account.

A few additions have been made to PDFescape.

First, PDFescape now features a new print button. This print button allows users to directly print PDF files from within PDFescape using their browser. With the addition of this print feature, PDFescape is now more than ever a complete and more feature rich replacement for your desktop PDF software.

It is worth noting that because PDFescape uses your browser to print, you may wish to turn off the headers and footers your browser may add to printer output. This is recommended for best results. (more information)

Second, our Firefox extension is now available for public testing. It will allow you to dynamically open PDF files you find as you browse directly in PDFescape. It is available for download from Mozilla:
